A large performance stage, movie theater–style folding seats, and a set of state-of-the art technology features make Benson Auditorium a beautiful, functional space capable of hosting events from lectures to concerts. | Champions of Sagehen Athletics Fund | The Champions of Sagehen Athletics fund helps change the game for our scholar-athletes and coaches. From upgraded facilities, equipment, and athletic apperal to enhanced recruiting, your gift will give the Pomona-Pitzer Saghens the tools they need to win. |
| Immigration Civil Rights Fund | Our Immigration Civil Rights Fund protects students facing the negative effects of US policies regarding immigration and deportation. Your gift to this fund accelerates our efforts to assist potentially vulnerable students with maintaining access to a Pitzer education, and shows your commitment to protecting justice and civil rights for every student. |
| Innovative and Flexible Classroom Fund | The Innovative and Flexible Classroom Initiative aims to reinvent our learning spaces to foster student engagement, reduce energy use and maintenance costs, and seamlessly integrate technology into the learning process. | Justice Education Initiative Fund | The Justice Education Initiative plays host to our Inside-Out Pathway-to-BA program, a groundbreaking bachelor's degree pathway for currently incarcerated people. Your gift to the Justice Education Initiative helps continue to fund this vital program, and helps accelerate our policy advocacy and reintegration support for this unique cohort of students. |
| Graham Derzon-Supplee Award Fund | Your gift to this fund helps preserve and honor the memory of Graham Derzon-Suplee, an organismal biology alumnus in the class of 2022, by providing a gift to a graduating senior in the Department of Natural Sciences who best exemplifies the qualities for which Graham's classmates, mentors, and friends best remember him. |
| Pitzer Promise Scholarship Fund | The Pitzer Promise Scholarship supports students of exceptional ability who may not have the financial means to attend Pitzer. Your gift of a Pitzer Promise Scholarship opens doors for these students, and lets us continue to provide for 100% of every student's demonstrated financial need. |
Areas of Support
Pitzer Fund
The Pitzer Fund supports every student, program, field group, and professor on campus. Unrestricted gifts to the Pitzer Fund can be used for any of the College’s current priorities, providing the flexibility to respond rapidly and take advantage of unexpected opportunities.
Endowed Funds
Gifts of all sizes may be contributed to the Pitzer General Endowment, Pitzer General Endowed Scholarship Fund or Pitzer Endowed Internship Fund. While annual giving supports the College’s immediate needs, endowment gifts add to our expertly managed principal that continues to yield returns for each coming year.

Capital Gifts
The Pitzer campus evolves with each generation to ensure that our older buildings continue to serve today’s scholars. Leadership gifts in support of our Master Plan play a critical role in the educational process. The College’s Advancement staff is available to review possible naming opportunities on campus in recognition of your gift. Personal tours can be arranged to explore you giving interests.
Family Giving
As many parents know, the dollars we dedicate to educating each student far exceeds the cost of tuition. In a very real way, each Pitzer family, even those paying full tuition, are helped by the generosity of our annual donors. Led by the Family Leadership Council and our fundraising Ambassadors, parents of first-year, sophomore, junior and senior students are challenged to give each year to the Pitzer Fund. Our aspirational goal is always 100 percent participation for each class!
Special and Memorial Gifts
A memorial gift or gift in honor of a special person is a thoughtful way to remember someone while at the same time helping Pitzer College. Celebrate a person’s unique story by establishing a named fund or commemorate a loved one by naming a space or inscribing a plaque on Pitzer’s campus. Advancement staff are ready to work with you on your wishes for a special or memorial gift.
